Coursework notes can be called the first step of writing a coursework. Actually, you may not decide on a topic for your coursework, but you simply know the discipline that you are going to write your work for. Even at this stage you can and you need to take coursework notes.
 
Sometimes, coursework notes can make a sufficient basis for the whole work. Coursework notes give you the first general idea of what you can write in your paper. If you already have some notes, it will be much easier afterwards to formulate your ideas.
 
We want to give you a piece of advice on the types of coursework notes and the ways you can make them.

• The most helpful coursework notes you can make during the lectures on the discipline that you are writing your paper for. Thus, be attentive during your classes and, of course, try not to miss them. Besides, you have to learn to define the most significant information that your tutor is introducing. If you write down every single word, you can miss something really important.
• Another type of coursework notes are those notes taken while reading relevant materials on your topic. You can copy out the most essential points in a separate notebook. You can also mark the significant issues straight in the book, but only if this book was not taken from the library.
• There is one more good way of taking coursework notes. You should always have your notebook with you. At times, useful information for your coursework may come from completely unexpected sources. Thus, you need to be able to take coursework notes everywhere.
